User Registration

Eligibility
CanadianJobBank offers different types of user accounts for job seekers. Each type of account has different eligibility requirements.
Anyone with an email address may create a Standard account on Job Bank.
To create a Plus account, you must be one of the following:
- a Canadian citizen;
- a permanent resident of Canada;
- a temporary resident of Canada; or
- an Express Entry candidate.
To show that you are eligible to create a Plus account, you must provide:
- your Social Insurance Number; or
- your Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code if you are an Express Entry candidate.
Suspension of use
Job Bank may immediately suspend or remove access to your Job Bank account if:
- You violate these Terms of Use;
- Your SIN is no longer valid; or
- Your Job Bank user account is suspected of being compromised or accessed by someone else.

By using Job Bank, you agree to do so at your own risk. You also agree that Job Bank is not responsible for any damages resulting from the use of its services.
Job Listings
•No Fees: We do not charge any fees to job seekers for accessing job listings or applying for jobs. Any requests for fees from other entities claiming to be associated with our platform should be ignored and reported to us immediately.
•Vetted Listings: We strive to ensure that all job listings on our platform are from reputable sources. However, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any job listing. You acknowledge that any reliance on job listings is at your own risk.
User Conduct
You agree not to:
•Use our services for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm, disable, overburden, or impair our services.
•Post, transmit, or otherwise make available any content that is false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
•Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
•Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international laws or regulations.
Intellectual Property
The content on our website, comprising text, graphics, logos, and software, belongs to Canadian Job Bank or its content suppliers and is safeguarded by international copyright laws. You must obtain our prior written consent before reproducing, distributing, or creating derivative works.
